The annual SummerDance festival, called Maholohet in Hebrew (a play on the words for “dance” and “hot”), will take place from July 1-August 31 and boast 84 performances.
International Exposure 2009 will present the work of twenty-seven Israeli choreographers to over ninety guests including theater directors, festival directors, and journalists.
“I am interested more in what is under the words, what is under our life. I’m more interested in energy, in what people don’t say. And I’m trying to dance it,” says Nimrod Freed.
