“Five days later, we leave [International Exposure” with a semblance of an idea of what makes contemporary dance in Israel so vibrant,” says guest writer Brian Schaefer.
International Exposure 2009 will present the work of twenty-seven Israeli choreographers to over ninety guests including theater directors, festival directors, and journalists.
“It was very important thing for me, this Curtain Up. It really was my school or my initiation program for my choreography,” says Noa Dar.
As the buzz about this year’s 20th anniversary celebration grew, I wanted to find out more about the history of Curtain Up.
